Peter Vishnevskiy - Director of Business Development (Consultancy Firms)
Peter has gained consulting experience as an associate at a major international law firm, and has also worked as a senior teaching fellow at law faculty at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The areas of Peter's expertise include international finance, corporate and private international law. Peter received PhD (Doctor of Juridical Sciences) from the Institue of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2015 and is now pursuing a Master in International Affairs at the Graduate Institute in Geneva.
Alexa Katherine Maclean- Director of Business Development (Clients)
Alexa is a first year Masters Student in International Affairs focusing on Trade & Finance and Global Security Studies. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University in Political Science and History and Post-Graduate Degree in Social Innovation Management from the Amani Institute. Over the last three years, Alexa has been working for C2 Montreal, a B2B business conference founded by Cirque du Soleil which sparks innovation in the intersection of creativity and commerce. As Director of Strategic Partnership Accounts, Alexa has worked with companies across industries advising and offering creative solutions to their commercial challenges to prepare for the future. In her spare time, Alexa volunteered at refugee camps in Greece and Jordan where she recognized opportunities for private sector engagement in humanitarian aid. She developed and executed the Ideate for Impact program within C2 Montreal designed to leverage private sector core competencies in responding to the refugee crisis. As Director of Business Development, Alexa hopes to continue building bridges between the private and public sectors and offer clients fresh perspectives and unique solutions to optimize their impact and performance.
Quanzhi Guo - Director of Communications
Currently a master candidate in International Affairs specialized in International Trade and Finance, Q (Quanzhi) has multinational experience across sectors and industries. In the past four years, she has worked at editorial at Forbes, drafted policy briefings on for an international organization, founded an online startup on language exchange, and conducted research in biochemical engineering. As a young journalist, her articles and features have appeared on various platforms such as the Huffington Post, BBC, and Vice. Highly driven and result-oriented, she hopes to combine her analytical and technical skill sets with her interdisciplinary background and creativity to untangle the knottiest problems.
Atma Dinnie Charles - Director of Finance & Aquisition
Atma is a Master’s student in Development Studies with significant work experience in the development sector in India through her last job as a Teach For India Fellow in Pune. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India and previously held research intern positions at Kudumbashree, the Kerala State Government’s Poverty Eradication Scheme and at Non-Profit Organizations like Salt Initiatives in New Delhi. She has also published an article in the Indian Medical Parliamentarians’ Forum Newsletter while interning with the Centre for Legislative Research and Advocacy, New Delhi. During her time there, she helped successfully organize a Parliamentarians’ Group for Children Roundtable Conference in collaboration with UNICEF India. She wishes to lead her efforts using her knowledge of the social sector, particularly in issues of education inequity, women empowerment and poverty eradication, to bridge the gaps in the current development policy of countries and contemporary international organizations. With her position at the Geneva Consulting Network, she strives to add value on a range of strategy issues and guarantee real expertise in development and international affairs by engaging in the Geneva NGO community.
Ting-Shao Wei - Director of Human Resources and Training
Ting-Shao Wei is a first year Master’s student in Development Studies interested in global governance and urban development. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in both public policy and foreign languages from National Taipei University. Before commencing his studies at the Graduate Institute, Ting-Shao interned at MOC Management Consulting Service. As a management associate, Ting-Shao focused on analyzing and cataloging data of Predictive Index, a workforce assessment tool for the recruitment process. He also introduced Predictive Index to several human resources departments of Chinese and Taiwanese corporations. With his experience in the recruitment and hiring process, Ting-Shao expects to select the most suitable candidate for the clients.
Ayeona Aris Hopkins - Manager of Business Development (Consultancy Firms)
Ayeona is a second year Master’s student studying International Development. Ayeona graduated from Wellesley College with a BA in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. Her interests in financial inclusion, social development and economic policy led her to enroll at the Graduate Institute in order to deepen her knowledge of international trade policy, international finance, project management and strategic development. Ayeona believes the skills and strategies used in consulting are important tools for all sectors and hopes to bring consulting experience and best practices to students at the Graduate Institute.
Jasmin Nicole Widmer - Manager of Business Development (Clients)
Jasmin Nicole Widmer is a candidate in the Masters of International Affairs program with a major in International Trade and Finance. She holds a BA in International Development and Political Science from McGill University in Montréal, Canada. Before coming to the Graduate Institute, she interned at swisspeace for the 'KOFF' platform that aims exchange, dialogue and network for organisations engaged in peacebuilding, the McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy and the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Co-ordinating Committee in Cape Town, South Africa.
Meredydd Rowan Rix - Manager of Human Resources and Training
Meredydd is a Master's candidate in the International Relations and Political Science Department. He holds a bachelors degree from the London School of Economics. Before joining the Geneva Consulting Network, Meredydd worked for the UNHCR, and as a researcher for an Indian think-tank. Meredydd's professional experience covers a range of sectors including journalism and post-conflict reconciliation. Outside work, he is a professional athlete, competing for England.
